Ventilated screen inner covers are designed to help keep your hive ventilated. Top vent screens, also known as screen inner covers, are used to provide extra ventilation when relocating your hives. They can also serve as a ventilated inner cover in hot weather. Our heavy-duty Top Vented Screen is made with durable #8 hardware cloth and has extra reinforcement for years of use. These screens will fit under a standard outer cover.
Tip: Use a sheetrock screw or duplex nail on each long side of the Vented Screen to help keep it in place when moving your bees. If using a ratchet strap, align it with the center crossbar on the screen.
